چکیده

Over the <span lang="EN-US">past few years, in order to improve hiding capacity and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) value, several steganographic techniques have been developed. Steganography has become a popular technique transmit secret data through any medium. In image steganography, human eye cannot easily identify hidden which is embedded into image. Small changes are also not detected by eye. High along with high visual quality provided pixel value differencing (PVD) method. This paper first proposes method of interpolation between blocks then applies least-significant-bit (LSB) substitution PVD At starting phase, original fixedto 2x2 block, nearest neighbor (NNI) implemented. next upper left isembedded k-bit LSB data. The newly generated neighbouring measured. Thus, from three directions. Through this using two different range tables, new algorithm proposed. We observed that both cases, PSNR improved.</span>

An Enhanced Image Steganographic Method with High Payload Capacity using Multidirectional Block Based Pixel-Value Differencing

To increase the payload capacity of the hidden secret information and to provide an imperceptible stegoimage for human vision, an enhanced steganographic method using multidirectional block based pixel-value differencing is proposed in this paper. To enhance the hiding payload capacity in image an steganographic method based on three-pixel block differences by Lin and Hseuh referring to only one...

A steganographic method for images by pixel-value differencing

A new and efficient steganographic method for embedding secret messages into a gray-valued cover image is proposed. In the process of embedding a secret message, a cover image is partitioned into non-overlapping blocks of two consecutive pixels. A difference value is calculated from the values of the two pixels in each block. All possible difference values are classified into a number of ranges...

A Blind Detection Resistant Steganographic Algorithm for Images Based on Texture Complexity and Pixel-value Differencing

According to the analysis of the effect of the texture complexity on steganalysis, we propose a data hiding algorithm based on texture complexity and difference pixel value. Firstly, the image is decomposed into blocks, after which the texture complexity of each block is calculated and blocks with high complexity are selected. Then the different pixel values on two directions of the selected bl...

A Steganographic Method Based on Pixel-Value Differencing and the Perfect Square Number

The pixel-value differencing (PVD) scheme uses the difference value between two consecutive pixels in a block to determine how many secret bits should be embedded. There are two types of the quantization range table in Wu and Tasi’s method. The first was based on selecting the range widths of [8, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128], to provide large capacity. The second was based on selecting the range widths ...

A high quality steganographic method with pixel-value differencing and modulus function

In this paper, we shall propose a new image steganographic technique capable of producing a secret-embedded image that is totally indistinguishable from the original image by the human eye. In addition, our new method avoids the falling-off-boundary problem by using pixel-value differencing and the modulus function. First, we derive a difference value from two consecutive pixels by utilizing th...
